Want to learn the techniques for winning in 2008 from top Democratic strategists? Make sure to RSVP today for Traverse City's Impact '08 training! It's organized by Team Granholm-Cherry and the Michigan Democratic Party. From field organizing to online activism, the two day training session will cover everything needed to keep Michigan blue this year.

When: Saturday and Sunday, June 7 and 8 (9:30-4:30 Saturday; 9:30-2:30 Sunday)
Where: Hagerty Center, Northwestern Michigan College, Traverse City.
Admission: FREE! (including all materials and lunch both days)

Make sure to RSVP by June 4: either online or by phone at 517-485-5100 extension 17 or through the Grand Traverse Democratic Party at 231-946-5555. You definitely don't want to miss this! If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

Too bad they scheduled this the same weekend as DFA training (4.00 / 3)

in Lansing. I'm sure there are some people who would like to attend both.

I would love to attend both, (4.00 / 3)

but the decision between the two training seminars wasn't difficult for me to make.

Lansing is 4+ hours away, gas is over $4.00 a gallon, the price of admission is $60.00 and we'd have to pay for a hotel on top of all that... Traverse City is only an hour away, it's free to attend and I can sleep in my own bed.

I'll be in Lansing for DFA (4.00 / 4)

I made that decision a long time ago, and Traverse would have been too far for me anyway. Geographically speaking, I guess it's not such a bad thing unless someone is in the middle!
