| no wonder the McCain campaign didn't have any money for Michigan. The Republican National Committee has spent more than $150,000 to clothe and accessorize vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her family since her surprise pick by John McCain in late August.
Because, according to Politico, mavericks wear $500 Ferragamo shoes, and spend $49,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue and $75,000 at Neiman Marcus. So tell me again that Barack Obama is the elitist. What they've spent at Saks and Needless Markups is way more than your average plumber makes in a year. If the McCain campaign is spending this kind of money on "wardrobe expenses" for Gov. Palin then no wonder they don't have money to compete in a state like Michigan. Being fiscally prudent isn't one of their strengths. |
