| Well, now this explains some things. WASHINGTON - With the selection of Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman as ambassador to China, President Barack Obama may have sidelined for now a potentially formidable Republican moderate and possible White House challenger in 2012.
Like the end-around Amway Guy pulled on what would have been his local Republican Party. In place of the canceled Kent County fundraiser, Huntsman will be hosted by Dick DeVos, the GOP gubernatorial nominee in 2006 and a major Republican fundraiser in the state, and wife Betsy DeVos for a fundraiser in Grand Rapids that benefits the state party.
Right, so the clowns who run the Kent County GOP -- the same county that is home to Amway's headquarters -- cancel this guy's appearance because Gary Glenn really, really, really hates homosexuals; and Amway Guy replaces that appearance with a fund raiser in Kent County ... a couple of weeks before Huntsman is nominated ambassador to China. Amway, naturally, is going full guns in China. |
