| Happy 4th of July! Here's hoping you and yours are spending a wonderful day filled with grilled meats and patriotic themed desserts. In honor of the founding of our country, I think it appropriate that we take a minute to remember why we celebrate this day. (Hint: it's not grilled meats or patriotic themed desserts.) From the National Archives: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Take a minute today and reread the Declaration of Independence. When you're done, make your own Declaration of Independence from Hunger by donating to the Million Can March.
