Thank goodness for candid responses from political leaders.

IMHO, Congressman John Conyers offered the best solution to our health care crisis when he introduced H.R. 676 - "Expanded and Improved Medicare For All" to the 111th Congress in January 2009. Thus, I disagree when you say that John Conyers has failed America again.

BTW, I'm puzzled as to why you found it necessary to refer to the Congressman's wife in your post.  For example:  

... You are a lawyer. And if you need help reading, maybe you could get your wife to help you now that she has more time on her slimy corrupt mits.

This statement strikes me as a cheap shot directed toward the Congressman.  Please know that John Conyers and his wife are two individual adults and, as such, neither one is responsible for the other's behavior.  They are separate and distinct adult human beings who happen to be legally married.

So, instead of doing reading for her husband, I imagine that his wife has her own set of pressing priorities to deal with at this time.  Needless to say, his wife is not the first politician ever to plead guilty to one count of bribery conspiracy.  Unfortunately, she will not be the last politician to do so either.

Moreover, I'm willing to bet that there are several members of Congress who have no intention and/or willingness to read anything like a 1,000 page Healthcare Bill.  Furthermore, I agree with you when you say that it is their job to read this stuff.
