Congressman Gary Peters town hall was interesting. I would say the crowd wat 60/40 in favor of health care reform. But the thing that really struck me, even though it's been obvious from the beginning, is that the people against health care reform are not interested in hearing how it will help them or learning the facts. The anti-health care reform faction was yelling about tort reform. Michigan already has the most stringent tort laws in the country.
The new Republican meme is to start over. It took us 60 years to get this far and there is no going back now. It's time to pass health care reform now.
