| Good news, I suppose, from both the 7th and 9th Congressional districts. Mark Schauer has outraised his entire field of competition, and so has Gary Peters. Meanwhile, from Ye Olde Inbox: Ann Arbor – The first candidates’ forum following the filing deadline in the 2010 race for governor will be held May 12 at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant sponsored by a partnership of the Detroit Free Press, Michigan Radio, ConservAmerica and the Michigan League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Education Fund. The two-hour forum will focus on three key challenges facing the next governor — rebuilding the state economy, creating jobs and safeguarding Michigan’s natural resources.
There may be more on this in the future, since the time, day, and location conspire to make it easily accessible to me (May 11th starting at 7 p.m. on CMU's campus in the same place that RFK Jr. spoke in November). Meanwhile, this isn't exactly campaign news, but I can't think of anywhere else to put it.
