| In a poll released on Friday, 42 percent of Democrats were still undecided when it came to the upcoming primary election for their party’s gubernatorial candidate in August. Thirty-four percent of those polled said they planned to vote for Speaker of the state House of Representatives, Andy Dillon, and 24 percent said they liked Lansing Mayor, Virg Bernero. |

| Virg Bernero has apparently worried Democrats with his fiery personality. (Google Virg Bernero and FOX NEWS). Arguably, however, Michigan is a state that NEEDS someone who is passionate about it's welfare. Unemployment is at 15.5 percent; more than fifty percent higher than the national average. Michigan has the seventh worst housing market in the United States, with one in every 389 households in foreclosure. Michigan has been deemed by many commentators to be one of the states that will not recover from the housing market crash and the Great Recession. Mr. Bernero has recently released a concrete and creative plan for bringing jobs back to the state. You can read his "Main Street Michigan Agenda" at www.votevirg.com. I had a chance to see Mr. Bernero speak in Grand Rapids and he was endearing, impassioned, and inspiring. I suspect we definitely have dark horse in this race. |
