As you work through this juvenile screed that reads like a drunken frat boy monologue keep in mind that this man is employed in an industry whose remaining employees regularly attack the perceived competition -- bloggers -- as incapable of anything except hurling insults and demagoguery. Keep in mind during his lectures on rebuilding, initiative and the messy nature of investment that his career is built entirely on taking over something someone else built and then shepherding it through a period of unprecedented decline. Finally, keep in mind that on the great issues of the day (Iraq, climate change, whether there remained fat in the state budget) that he has regularly aligned himself on the side of factual inaccuracy and ignorance and called names of people who disagreed. Finally, keep all this mind the next time you pick up a Detroit News (before it finally sinks below the waves, having been chosen for extinction by the very same market forces this two-bit clown worships), and you his name affixed to something. |
