| Someone needs a timeout, literally. The former spokesman for the Michigan Republican Party sent out an email that said armed rebellion was justified over the Supreme Court ruling upholding Obamacare. Matthew Davis, an attorney in Lansing, sent the email moments after the Supreme Court ruling to numerous new media outlets and limited government activists with the headline: “Is Armed Rebellion Now Justified?”
Read the entire thing. These people are scary, not just because they appear to have gone so far off the deep end as to now apparently think violence is their only remedy, but because the individual mandate was their idea in the first place. Update! ... Someone called to say that Matthew Davis currently suffers from leukemia. If true, and I believe this person, then he is opposed to a law extending to people suffering from the same disease that as an attorney he no doubt has medical care for through his employer, and preventing future employers from denying them all coverage because of a pre-existing condition. This is the law he thinks ought to spark another American Revolution. |
