| This quote has been making the rounds this morning on the Twitterverse and Facebook Internets. "As chairman of the Oakland County Republican Party, I still have doubts" about Obama's citizenship, Jim Thienel said.
I hate to get all grammar Nazi-ish, but the structure of that sentence means that his doubts about Obama's citizenship are based on the fact that he's the chairman of the Oakland County Republican Party. I very much doubt that's true. If my hunch is true, the chairman of the GOP in the state's wealthiest county is no better at using English than his party honchos were in reading poll data before the election. |
