Secession succession

I really do think that one should have a firm grasp of punctuation, grammar and spelling prior to submitting a petition to the White House. 

Would it be possible to corral all of the secessionists into one county and simply secede that county? I respectfully request that the Obama administration consider Ionia County. They already have a half dozen prisons, a 90% redneck rate and no Commie fluoride in the water.

to toot my own horn. But I did propose the Democratic Republic of Michigan (DRM) back in 2009.

I'd say

Put them all on Isle Royale and call it a day, but I couldn't do that to the wolves.  Haven't they suffered enough?

Can someone put up a petition begging Canada to annex us, already?  I'd be down with putting my name on that. lol
