Senate committee passes federal law nullification bill out of committee

2-1 vote, as I understand it, with the two lawyers on the committee questioning whether the state can unilaterally nullify federal laws. We had a war about that once, kind of a significant one that involved the president at the time killing vampires. We even got a movie starring Jeff Daniels out of it, as well as more than half a million dead Americans.

Our state is run by morons.
