And now, a word from our sponsor

I have a rare treat, which is a day sponsorship. It's also a rare treat because today would have been the 100th birthday of Rosa Parks, one of the great heroes of American history. Off to the left is a photo of long-time MichLib reader and commenter Leona McElevene with Rosa Parks back in the 80s. She wanted to share the photo and the day with you, and also a little cash to help me do things like pay bills. Many thanks to her for the filthy lucre, and for sharing the photo. The link goes to a National Day of Courage today in honor of Parks. Please take a little time to visit it and reflect on what it means to you.

Today, however, is as thin and whispery as a puff of smoke. Tomorrow, it will have vanished into a million yesterdays (you only get this poetic after a proper morning's caffeine). Who among you will step up to fill the void.

As mentioned the other day, rates are $25 by the day, $100 by the week, or $360 for an entire month. For more information, please contact me at ebaerren@michiganliberal.com or by phone/text at 517/881-8008. Also, if you prefer, any of the various social media places where you can find me.
