| On passage through the House today of money for a health care exchange, from Bill Schuette: My thoughts on today's House passage of health care exchange: Obamacare is an unprecedented, and I have argued, unconstitutional, expansion of federal government into the lives of its citizens. It’s important to remember when dealing with issues like the health care exchange that the federal government is not a good faith partner with the states when it comes to creating & expanding new federal programs. We should not blindly expect the federal government to live up to their promises of continued funding.
Well, you're wrong about the unconstitutional part, because that question is now settled. But, thanks for advising the Legislature to wait out a political solution in the form of Mitt Romney's election to the presidency in November as a remedy. Now, we anxiously await the full repeal of Obamacare as Schuette promised was coming by Congress and the signature of the president. |
