| Classic. What Walberg omitted was that he actually voted in support of a Republican backed bill that was defeated last Thursday before the final legislation, on which he cast a no vote, gained approval and landed on President Obama’s desk. The passed measure didn’t contain the conscious clause provisions. The day after the Act passed on Capitol Hill, AM 1590’s Ken Delaney asked Walberg about the bill, thinking that the Congressman had voted yes on the final version of the measure and Walberg made no effort to explain that in reality, he voted no on the Act that gained passage the previous day. The communications director for Walberg’s office refused to talk with us about the seeming contradictions with the news release instead suggesting we express our concerns by e-mail.
