[Update by Jon-11:00] So the server is very slow right now because we (and four other state blogs hosted on soapblox) are being flooded. If you wait, you'll get through.

Got any numbers?

Sec of State's site here.

Det News/AP site here.

As of 12:03pm, from Det News/AP - last update for the night

US Sen (R):Bouchard
59.68%
Butler
40.32%
4298/5470 precincts reporting
3rd CD (D):Hickey
49.15%
Rinck
50.85%
312/313 precincts reporting
7th CD (R):Schwarz
45.13%
Walberg
54.87%
259/336 precincts reporting
9th CD (R):Godchaux
31.13%
Knollenberg
68.87%
130/296 precincts reporting

Note: 4 candidates messes up my table, so I'll mention here that Renier is ahead by a lot in the 7th Dem primary, and Casey and Denison are tied in the 10th Dem primary.

All in good time (0.00 / 0)
Looks like Bouchard has taken most of the UP.

Oakland County results (0.00 / 0)
Oakland County:

Northville results (0.00 / 0)
That first precinct in O.C. must be City of Northville (Oakland County portion - you can tell, it includes County Commissioner #9 which is only part of City of Novi, Novi Township and City of Northville). Interesting results:

DeVos: 319
Granholm: 168

No surprise, that's GOP territory.

But check this out:

Bouchard: 236
Butler: 115

Stabenow: 158

That means that the Governor picked up the highest Dem total (not a huge surprise but nice). But check out DeVos - 32 Republican voters specifically did not vote for him but did vote in the US Senator race. Were those crossover Dems who wanted to vote in the US Senate race or are suburban Republicans not willing to pull the handle for DeVos?

Sylvan Lake (0.00 / 0)
Another Republican community not blindly voting for DeVos:

DeVos: 210
Bouchard + Butler: 255

Consider this is over 40 votes out of a total of 255. That's quite a percentage of Republicans taking a pass on DeVos. If this was a crossover Dem vote, wouldn't they be supporting Godchaux versus Knollenberg? Doesn't look like it.

Schwarz ahead by 10 in MI-7 (0.00 / 0)
According to GOPProgress.com, which is a moderate Republican site. I haven't seen anything online yet, though.

Since this district is not likely to go Dem in any case, I'm pulling for Schwarz to hold on.

Early returns have Walberg ahead (0.00 / 0)
But most are from his home base of Lenawee County. I'm still hoping this part of Michigan won't send a certifiable fascist to Congress.
