| The Bradosphere thinks I'm a moron: Only a moron can believe this is true. I work at the Citizen Patriot and I am pretty sure no politician ever admitted to us he is a whore. I'd remember that.
What's he talking about? Tim Walberg, and his acknowledgement that he takes a lot of money from Club for Growth, embraces its very narrow, extremist ideology, and says that if pursuing Club for Growth's agenda in Washington D.C. after taking a lot of money from them makes him a whore, then he's a whore. Well, not exactly in those words. We're going with Bradley Flory's words. Here's what Walberg actually said: "If I go to Congress and lower taxes, reduce pork-barrel spending and kill the tax codes of the IRS," Walberg said, "you can say, 'Yep, I'm bought and paid for by them.'"
Keep in mind what while Walberg has just recited Club for Growth's entire Congressional agenda (lower taxes, cut spending, replace the IRS with the Fair Tax) he's also had his primary and general election campaigns financed largely by Club for Growth. But, whatever, apparently if you are capable of interpretive thought, you're a moron. |
