Wellstone Action's signature training program provides hands-on, practical training in grassroots politics taught by highly experienced trainers. The training will be held at IBEW Local 58 in Detroit. More info here.
Why am I crawling out of the woodwork to mention this? I attended Camp Wellstone when it was in Lansing four or five years ago, and it was one of the most productive and educational weekends of my life. If you're a candidate looking for advice on crafting elevator speeches, an aspiring campaign manager wondering how to figure out your "win number" or just a volunteer who wants better strategies for approaching people on their doorsteps, Camp Wellstone is time well spent. Moreover, I still have a couple really good friends I met that weekend.
