Gobsmackingly stupid. That's the only way you can describe it.

He also picked up Magic Frank's line about Voter ID laws being necessary to prevent the disenfranchisement of legitimate voters. I wonder how long it is before he goes on about how the last time he rented a car, he had to provide proof that he's a licensed driver.
