Why does the Detroit News want to see the tax records for Harry Reid, a senator from Nevada who isn't running for nationwide office (i.e., the News will never be one of his constituents)? The answer is pretty obvious. The Detroit News is less intererested in exploring someone's fitness for office and is more interested in seeing the issue muddled because the target of inquiry is a Republican. Hence, this really juvenile*, "I'm rubber and you're glue" editorial. *--This comment made with 30 percent more sheer rancid bile and spite than previous comments made about the intellectual quality of Detroit News editorials. |
