Predictable: Ruth Johnson's citizenship question lands in court

Here's an idea.

Since our Secretary of State believes that, even though in order to register to vote you must be a citizen, it is necessary to ask if every voter is a citizen every time they show up to vote I propose the following form for voters:

Name
Address
Date of Birth

Are you a Homo sapiens?
Are you at least 18 years old?
Are you still alive?
Do you still live at the address given above?
Has someone paid you to vote?

Signature (under penalty of perjury)

All of the listed questions are just as pertinent to voting in Michigan as being a citizen. We do limit voting to humans who are over 18, have not died (except at times in Chicago), are living in the precinct where they are voting, and it is a crime to buy/sell a vote.

Further since the citizenship question is to be asked every time a person votes, it is worth noting that a person is far more likely to die (everyone does) or move (most people do) than they are to give up their citizenship (very few do).
