Thanks for the reminder, Wendy. You do know that Frankenstorm is hitting a full week before the election, don't you? Just checking. Anyway, I post this for anyone who wants to continue insisting that the Tea Party is filled with average Americans who are just angry over how the federal government spends their money. I also post this for all you centrists out there, who believe that "both parties are equally guilty of appealing to their fringe element." Can you imagine a leftist who in 2004 insisted that George Bush was going to manufacture a terrorism threat to cancel that election that he was winning (and, based on horserace metrics, Obama is winning) without fear of being roundly mocked by the political media? P.S. If you read the comments, there's at least one feller who said that after reading this post he changed his Sunday plans to reloading ammunition. Just your average, everyday American patriot fed up with The Government spending his hard-earned tax dollars on blowjobs and cocaine for Big Bird. |
