| I feel the need to get off my ass and put out feelers. I'm new at this site and want to find out how to use it to advertise towards founding a Macomb County Liberal Club. I've visited a Macomb County Democratic Committee Club meeting. I learned enough to never admit to being an independent nor being unaffiliated with any political party to such a group. At least I can pass that lesson along. I'm a 60 yr. old, dirty, hippie, pinko-commie liberal "traitor to America" (according to Right Wing talk radio and FukSnooze). I'm used to taking my lumps from both Republicans and Democrats alike. I'm willing to use the local Kinkos and put up posters at the local Community College and just see what interest there is toward the founding of a local club for liberals to discuss what liberal values are and if there are others like myself who care to meet. I know of a local coffee house which will allow such a group to meet for free. In the face of the lies and betrayal of Gov. Snyder, I feel it's time to see who else is interested to join me. I'm not interested in having this club represeent any one political party. In fact I believe that a few members of The Green Party might enjoy having the opportunity to join a liberal club just for the sake of hearing how other liberals think of them and their efforts to gain elected office.
