| Magic Frank writes a Christmas column. It's filled with the usual menu of Magic Frank-isms, such as wishing a history lesson for the president that bigger government doesn't create greater prosperity (for Magic Frank, this year I hope someone gives him a book of American history) and that Bob King not focus on "far left" politicking and instead sticks to things that won't benefit organized labor very much. It also includes these gems. For the nation's industry of violent video game makers, a warning that they, too, will come under scrutiny for creating the unreal world of endless lives in shoot 'em ups that can desensitize young players to the fragility of life. For Hollywood's moviemakers, see the previous paragraph regarding many of the films you create, glamorizing violence. For the pro-choice segment of our society, realization that you've helped create a disregard for life by advocating for more than a million abortions per year.
By the way, we've been very good at exporting our violent entertainment culture. You'd think the drift towards semi-regular massacres that have us where we're at today would follow to those other countries, if violent films and video games were really responsible. I'll leave it to you, dear reader, to do your own research on gun violence in places like England and Japan. As for the bit about how abortion created Sandy Hook, these are the people who are constantly lecturing us about personal responsibility. |
