Lil' Fella's principled revolt continues to draw the admiration of his caucus

by: Eric B.

Sat Jan 05, 2013 at 14:17:17 PM EST

From The Hill.

"I think it's ridiculous," (Ohio Republican Steve) LaTourette said. "They should kick them all out of the Republican conference … I don't know what their objective is. If it was to deny the speakership to Boehner and hand it to Mrs. Pelosi, I don't know how their cause would have been furthered. If it's to force the vote to a second ballot to make some demands, well, who the hell do these people think they are? Twelve out of 233, and they're making demands? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard."

Keep in mind that when the Grand Rapids Press endorsed Lil' Fella for another term, their editorial didn't actually talk about what they thought he was doing right but how they'd hope he'd act in a second term.

I sense a primary challenged in 2014.

Update! ... By the way, LaTourette just retired from Congress. Someone's always quick to point stuff like that out.

More to the point, ex-Rep. La Tourette is leading a Super PAC to protect GOP incumbents... (0.00 / 0)
...from Tea Party and/or Paulista challengers from the "right" during the 2014 primaries.

To which I say, good luck raising the kind of money that'll be needed to fend off Grover Norqust, AFP and the Kochs once they put that (figurative) target on the back of some poor incumbent lacking in wingnut cred.
