| According to the National Review and Roll Call, Republican Congressman Justin Amash, 32, of Michigan's Third District is contemplating a U.S. Senate bid should longtime incumbent Democrat Carl Levin retire in 2014.
Why wait for Senator Levin's retirement? I say go all in now. I hope the incumbent seeks another term. Levin v. Amash.
Michigan voters, brace yourselves: The Liberty Caucus sort will make it rain on Congressman Amash's bid.
From the National Review:
Amash's consideration is alarming to Michigan Republicans, who are hoping to back a more established candidate, especially if Levin retires and the seat is open.
