2010 Statewide Candidates- who want the job!!

Mirs had a recent article regarding our previous 2006 Democratic nominee for Attorney General that I found quite interesting:

"Williams Says 'No' To A.G. Bid"

          'Williams confessed he never had any "burning desire" to run for A.G. in the first place...'

 I think it is no wonder why we lost the AG spot to such a weakened opponent like Cox when we hear our candidates didn't even want the job in the first place.

 With that said, what list of potential candidates are considering runs for the statewide offices of Gov, AG, and SS in 2010?

AG - Williams embraces the 'L-word'

At a time when some people run from such labels, Amos Williams will proclaim loudly that he is a Democrat, a liberal and, yes ... a trial lawyer.

"I believe Democrats have the right approach to government, that it exists for the betterment of the people," he declares. " ... A liberal does not believe in excluding people from the benefits of our society. ... There has never been a trial lawyer who could determine a verdict. We don't have a magic wand. Citizens and juries determine that."
