Break out your good-neighbor cookie sheets and casserole dishes, because it is time to welcome our two newest members to the Democratic Party fold!
Amidst the usual suspects who gathered in Detroit's Cobo Hall to trudge through the relatively uneventful agenda of this weekend's Michigan Democratic Party convention two new and somewhat surprising faces appeared: former Republican State Representative John Stewart (R-Plymouth) and his wife, and one-time would-be Republican successor to the 20th District State House seat, Beth.

Yes, that's right. The state Democratic party Resolutions Committee has approved a net neutrality resolution which will be voted on tomorrow afternoon at the state convention.
My rumor mill is telling me that AT&T and the CWA are planning on mounting a serious challenge, and possibly a floor fight. And, you thought the 3 pm session would be boring.
We need all party members and precinct delegates to attend the convention and vote in favor of this resolution on net neutrality.
